I’m a graphic designer with a media theoretical background currently based in Basel. My main focus belongs to the creation of visual identities with strong reflected concepts. I’m working on independent projects, exhibitions and commissions for digital and printed media. I value the challenge to integrate various spheres with people from different backgrounds to translate complex ideas into creative solutions.
In my studies in Media Science and Economics at the University of Basel I focused on media critical topics and analysed various impacts of still and moving images. Afterwards I deepened my knowledge in visual communication at the programme of Visual Communication and Iconic Research at the Basel School of Design HGK FHNW.
I had the opportunity to learn from Tony Brook and Claudia Klat at SPIN where I worked on identities, social media campaigns, motion graphic projects and books for Unit Editions. At the office Atelier Dyakova I was able to create publications, brand identities and campaigns for museums, galleries and cultural institutions. With Lars Müller Publishers I focused on book design throughout the spheres of architecture, design, art, society and photography.
